College football is a unique entity.  While the identity of many sports is specific to what happens on the field of play, college football is defined by the game between the lines as well as the sights and sounds of gameday.

AutumnSpectacle.com exists to celebrate the college football experience.  Built and sustained for over a century by the drama revealed each week during the regular season, the Autumn Spectacle is accentuated by the bands, fight songs, campuses, traditions, the autumn and much more.

Throughout the season in this online magazine, you’ll find weekly features that we hope will be informative and fun.  You’ll find:

Trip Captain – A firsthand look at what it’s like to attend a game at various college football venues written by a fan who has visited numerous campuses for gameday.

There are numerous topics in the world that are heavy and sad and college football should not be one of them.  College football was never designed to cure a deadly disease nor feed the homeless.  The sport’s glass is 99% full and today’s media tends to focus on the remaining 1%.  The enjoyment of gameday is being sucked away by media members who focus on “controversies” and debates.
